Anyway, today is a special day for all people, sinful or not. Alin has finally confessed to Yee Jek! So lovely. It was that faithful moment during econs lecture when she passed him a slip of paper. Such an inspiring day, pity Alin was slightly anxious and could not even wait for the leap day to come. But you know, who cares! It's this year anyway. (For those who don't know, in Scottish culture, leap year is the only year that a woman can propose to a man.) It just seems like God/Allah's doing, from how they met last year as friends and progressed throughout 2007, knowing each other more and better, and this year, viola, the leap year!
Yee Jek was so thrilled and delighted, he couldn't even sit still on our way to NUS for a Geography Careers Talk.
They even had their "attachment photo" taken! Everything progressed so quickly that even people like unintentionally, tsg, xiaoyi, jianhan and me, were all rather surprised, but pleasantly. Who doesn't like such lovely surprises anyway, right?
Anti-Climax: Tired tired tired! But I guess I shouldn't complain too much. Who isn't tired?
I probably safely say everyone, especially jianhan, except one sinful girl, secretly happy today, brimming with excitment and anticipation for the new future for her (and him, of course). Whether it is for love, companionship, or even lust, still, I wanna wish them all the best in this new journey for both of them.
