It's the time of the year again- The last day of the year. Today, this day of the year feels exceptionally uncanny. There's like this tingling sensation that something's gonna happen to me soon or something like that. I guess I should just ignore it huh.
I wonder how I felt about this day of the year just a couple of years ago. It should be mostly worrying about school starting.. But knowing it's not exactly the start of school cos eve means the next day is still a public holiday = no school. But this year, I don't seem to have much to worry about. Possibly, it could be due to the ALLS also known as the Acute Lan Lan Syndrome that I've attained over the last 4 weeks. Everyday is just play chinese chess, play monopoly deal, and occasional joy rides within camp.
Running through my blog for this entire year, I shall list down some major personal achievements/ milestones for 2009.
1. Working at Isetan + OOTB.
2. Getting my Class 3 (read: MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT!)
3. Learning to swim 50m
4. Shaving botak
5. BMT, BSLC, AI
6. Getting stung a grand total of 6 times by oversized mosquitoes like hornets + wasps
7. 8.56 + 7.25
8. Best trainee
9. Instructor
10. Being totally soaked in diesel for a couple of hours.
Ok only 10. Seems like a pretty bland and monotonous year with not much ups and downs, so much so I even had to write some poppycock for point 10. On a blogger scale, this year was only half as titillating as 2008 as I had 2 times less number of posts. Anyways, I am a little tired already so i'll just leave the new year resolution thingy for tml (or tml tml) cos this kinda things are suppose to be for the new year right? Right. Woke up at 6 and drove all the way to camp on a off day cos I had duties. And all the way back after 20 minutes. No comments.
Cheers and savour every moment of the last day of 2009!

Updates.
Ok shall do a little update on my life since I know I haven't been blogging for quite awhile. (wake up call thanks to recee tan xy) But before which I shall do some editting to my previous post so that SOMEONE can finally stop disturbing me.
Finally passed out as a sergeant. Don't exactly feel too much of a happiness except that we can finally ba long long walk around the camp now which really makes me quite happy I don't know why...
I guess the highlight of the parade was the fireworks of course.
Just take a look at all the excited parents taking photographs of the fireworks, except that they didn't quite know that those were in fact no ordinary civilian pyrotechnics, but military ones aka budget ones known as trip flares. But oh wells, I guess they achieved the end result they wanted which was to stimulate the parents.
That's me. Yup.
Also went out with terence to deemonise emo kong. It was a night with lots of cheap and good food which made our stomach happy. Just look that kong's satisfied face sucking his thumb. All emoness gone!
Then there was timbre @ ecp which was officially known as mobile timbre with mini S51. Already a cui name to start out with, the whole place was rather cui. Here are 5 reasons why you should not go timbre ecp:
1. Super ulu location. Even our dear organiser got lost together with her apparently in-built gps friend.
2. Super unchillax feel. Looks and feels like a makeshift army HQ during ops. Thanks but no thanks I don't wanna get reminded that im in the army.
3. Super uncomfortable benches and low tables. Left me crouching through the night with a painful ass.
4. Super alot of mosquitoes. *scratch scratch*
5. Poor service. No thanks you. No smiles. Slow. Very slow. FORGOT TO RETURN CREDIT CARD. OMG.
Apparently, this mobile timbre i read, as its' name suggests, will move around to different locations. I suppose this is one of the things that looks good on paper which will make bosses happy but on the ground in reality, the result can never be anymore devastating. Timbre has already been rather stagnant about the bands playing there. It always seem to be the same and not much effort seems to be put into searching for new talents. Now with this mobile timbre coming up, I can foresee plenty of problem it has created for itself. Poor location, poor staffs due to lack of training/ constantly changing staffs = poor service.
At least there was great company for the night.
