Whoosh! I am gonna book in in about 2 hours time. And thank God it's left with the last week already. Still have my SOC and 16km to complete this coming week then it's really left with the last last last 24km.

Last week was rather interesting. Started off with IPPT which I miraculously got a gold for. Then it was guard duty which I took over Ryan cos he had re-sitest but in the end didn't make it. But it was rather fun, greeting big shots as they walk pass and talking cock to John all night. Then got to bookout for airforce medical review where i had a good break from cookhouse food, ate pizza and macs. Slurpz. Lastly is the SDC visit which was as usual a waste of time.

Sigh. Such is the boring life of a RECRUIT.

Since im just like nuaing around on the net, i thought that i might as well blog since my blog don't really get much updates- at most once a week. Ok first thing is obviously about army which my life is all around now. Completed all the high key events already leaving ippt, soc, and 2 mother long route marches.

3 weeks to pop!


Had another ippt diagnostic just before we booked out ytd, improved from a pass to silver but have to buck up on my sbj which 4cm costs me my gold ARGHH! But another thing to improve is also sit up (although i have 5 points already) which i feel that our trainings dont really focus on. (maybe because it's one of the stations where its the easiest to cheat so everybody ends up getting 5 points -.-) One of the most suprising station was 2.4km run where i improved like crazy without training for the past 2 weeks so i was rather shocked. Still not sure what my exact timing is but pretty sure its below 9.20 so it has cut by about 1 whole minute since my vj days.

Looking forward to playing on the entire soc ground next week but i guess that's about all im looking forward too. Got to book in early at 5pm which makes it extra sian this weekend.

Suay but lucky. I seem fated to get bitten by all sorts of insects. For the record i've hornets and wasps already. *claps* Ya ya thank you thank you. Somehow. Anyway im back here slightly earlier than the predicted time due to unforeseen events which occurred. Field camp was one hell of a hell with heavy downpour every morning without fail. Being stuck in muddy hell in a never dry muddy + wet long4 alllllllllldayyyyyyyylonggggggggggggg is yucks + yucks - yucks.

First day was in basha and a heavy lightning storm struck around 0200hrs. All was fine till about 0300hrs when my side of the basha got flooding so i ended up swim-sleeping in cold, muddy water till about 0545hrs while my buddy didnt bother about me and continued sleeping on his dry side (thanks man). The other days were all rainy but only the third day was bad enough to be mentioned again when we were all proning without cover. The rain always seemed so intentional as though it was just created by whoever up there to irritated us. Woke up at 0600hrs and started to prone. At about 0605hrs, another heavy downpour struck. The worst part is it stopped exactly when we were asked to stop proning and have our breakfast. I have no idea wassup man.

Ok but the main question should be why on earth am i blogging when im suppose to be out on the wonderful island? Ans: no thanks and thanks to some hornets.

On the 3rd day of some drill movement, i was taking cover when i saw 2 hornets happily flying right in front of me collecting honey i suppose, then i thought that i should just keep still so that they wouldn't attack me. But unfriendly them, came to attack my calf! Damn. It was rather painful at first so i went to the medic. Story cut short, the medic just iced my leg and then i was free. The next day i went to report that my leg was swollen, then went to MO who put me in the sickbay, left for CGH in the afternoon cos the MO thought it was rather serious infection then i tio attn c which means im FREEEE!!!

Fine lah honestly i didn't thought that it was serious enough to get an attn c for this but oh wells im not complaining. Managed to escape 2 additional wet nights + 2 super shiong tekan sessions thanks to the hornets. So thanks ya hornets!


Eh i said thanks already ok. Stop giving me that stupid look.

And Here I Go Again.

Ok im back. And im going to be gone again. Damn, it's gonna be another 2 weeks of sweet hell on the little island. The feeling of getting stuck somewhere is really stuckily sucky. It's not just any island, it's somewhere where you keep seeing commercial planes flying all over your head (cos its dam near changi airport -.- and no thanks for that), it's freaking depressing.

The couple first few days were really super sianed, couldn't fall asleep at night cos of 100% shift in the change in body clock timings. But it got a little better when my bunk mates all started talking cock and doing stupid things together. Overall, some key events were the 4km route march and marksman test. Next week's gonna be field camp and grenade throwing which i hope i don't drop it accidentally or you won't see me updating anytime soon next week too.

Sigh and no photos sorry cos no camera phone ya. I am disappearing in a couple of minutes. 7.07pm now, no wait, its 1907 (echo 1907) and im booking in when? 2000.

And guess what? Im botak.

Dear God.

Oh man. In like less than 12 hours I'll be in the lovely and really sunny island called tekong. 4 months ago, 4 months seemed so far away but now, it is 4 months after already.

Anyway, i set out to complete some stuffs after A levels and i think it wasn't too bad. Firstly, i managed to rush my driving and finished it. But dang, im still not driving yet. YET. Next, i managed to learn how to swim at least 50m, which im still rather uncertaining so hopefully i wouldnt drown at the island. I also managed to complete a couple of photography expeditions to quirky places, most memorable being the one with jek which i got bitten by stupid @#$&%*$ wasps. Worked at 2 places- Isetan and Two on the Bun. Isetan was rather enjoyable but my contract was short, Two on the Bun was just irritating to work for but still made some good friends like Cliff. It was also alot of fun just hanging out with friends like 07S51, xianyi, jek, xiaoyi, lmkh, ong, keesiao, fsaw, snorlax etc etc.

Lastly, I finally RECEIVED A HUG FROM A GAY!


But actually, it wasn't really a very good hug. He's not a good hugger so I have totally no idea why he's giving free hugs in the middle of orchard road. His hug to me was like cold and flaccid and the best part of it all is that when I asked him why he's doing that (giving hugs), he said "to show that there's someone in this world that cares about you." I instantly diaoed. Oh my god lah. After his hug i just felt that there's one less person in this world that cares about me -.-

Ok i shall stop talking nonsense already. 2 weeks later people. Till then..

1 Last Week.

Alright man. Im officially left with 1 week on earth and it's really sinking into me now. Kinda sian, lots of stuffs to settle and buy and I have not bought anything yet -.- It has indeed been a long period of time since the Awesome As, I did make a list of things I wish to complete after the AA and I did complete some but maybe not others but I'll just list them out soon..

Friday went out with lcy, xiaoyi,xiaoming, ziyang and chao yang to swim at the exciting jurong east swimming complex. It was rather fun doing all the retarded stuffs and just chilling out in the water but I got quite burnt after that. But the water is seriously too over-chlorinated, tastes horrible especially at the wave pool when all the water just like flow down your throat lol.

Lcy who was all excited about the mushroom couldn't wait to take a photograph with it.


Xiaoming on the other hand, was more excited about crawling in and out of little holes..


After which xiaoyi and xiaoming and me went to Kranji to take some photos before heading home. It was rather exciting as we spotted chameleons attempting to mate. I even tried to stimulate them by chasing both of them up onto a tree so that they'll have more time together.


Anyway, it's xianyi's birthday so happy birthday doctor chen! I guess we don't have to celebrate birthdays with him anymore eh.
